Vicky Berrington

Founder and CEO

Vicky has over 30 years of experience in Marketing, Business Development and Project Management in both the legal fraternity and corporate environment. She is also the Africa Regional Director for Meritas, a global alliance of leading independent law firms. Her main focus over the years has been the development and running of various business and legal networks together with the marketing of legal firms. Vicky’s extensive travels throughout Africa, together with ongoing research and the monitoring of projects have equipped her with an in-depth understanding of the continent.

Herve Kisula

Consultant

Hervé is a business consultant and agent at SAIN, his responsibilities include assisting members entering the African market by providing on the ground information and facilitating introductions to generate more business for our members. He has extensive experience in business development, sales and strategic planning. Hervé’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Science obtained from Monash University and a postgraduate qualification in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School.

Carine van Greunen

Business and Project Development

Carine, a BA Communications graduate from RAU (UJ), is an experienced Project Manager, Training Director, Facilities Manager, Space Planner, Brand Manager and Entrepreneur. Having been a co-owner in 8 franchise businesses, she understands the day-to-day challenges of running and improving one’s business. She is creative and an out of the box thinker that approaches everything from a holistic angle, finding the best solution for any challenge. She assists clients identify business opportunities and foresees possibilities for their own businesses.

Jessica Bunyan

Project Operations Manager

Jessica is a qualified Project Operations Manager, with strong business development experience in the construction industry. She is also well versed in the Financial sector with years of working experience in Fiduciary and the governing of Trusts. She is a highly dedicated, dynamic individual with exceptional communication and organisational skills. She is passionate and hardworking with an incredible attention to detail. Able to adapt easily in stressful situations and exhibit confidentiality, discretion, tact, diplomacy and professionalism.

David Bunyan

Project Operations Manager

David holds a Bcom degree in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. He also obtained a higher certificate in Business Principles and Practices and is currently studying for his MBA. With his skills, experience and qualifications, he truly is an asset to our team.

Peter Quinn

Strategy and Business Consultant

(Including Investment Proposals and Financial Modelling)

With over 35 years of experience in Senior Management positions and business consulting, across a number of industry sectors. Peter has a wealth of business knowledge and skills. He has previously been the CEO of a listed company with over 10,000 staff across 5 divisions. Peter has also interacted with a number of international companies mainly through strategic partnerships.

He actively supports SAIN through preparing financial modelling Extra-Mural business cases, reviewing and enhancing investment proposals and providing business and strategic insights.

Peter holds a B Bus Sc degree and is both a CA (SA) and a FCMA. He is also an IMM graduate and attended the SEP program at Stanford University, USA.

Sagie van Niekerk

Corporate Finance Advisor

Sagie van Niekerk has in excess of 20 years experience in the re-engineering of privately-owned companies. This has been through employment in the banking industry as well as consulting. He was instrumental in the structuring of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) transactions in the Quarry industry and BEE strategies for key strategic mining suppliers (BHP Billiton, Kumba, Sasol Mining, etc). Sagie currently focuses on the restructuring of African privately-owned entities for value creation. This includes business & financial re-engineering of privately-owned entities, mergers and acquisitions as well as acting as a Corporate Advisor for the listing of entities on Public Stock Exchanges, in South Africa and Europe.
